Deep body; wide mouth, flaring rim; two vertical loop handles on shoulder. Plain. Contained ears of corn. With calabash cover.

Cooking pot (olla) with an ovate body, flaring collar, rounded rim, 2 strap handles on the body, and a flat base. There are no molded/modeled additions and no decoration. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior and a smoothed finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the body. The catalogue number is written on the bottom of the base and black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "307a."
