Description | Stone adze blade (da) with double convex cross section. Nearly black. Possibly traded in from the Ok Sibil area. Obtained from Amgorep Kotmop, Namanggo clan, Kamokpin village, Papua New Guinea. Amgorep, who is about 45 years old, said that his father's father, Korowinemwo, of the Namanggo clan (before there were villages), had acquired it in trade. No longer used. Purchased from Amgorep. |
