| Description | This painting comes from the mastaba tomb of Nefermaat, a son of King Sneferu. On the right, a standard-bearer leads a procession of cattle (only one horn survives) into the presence of Nefermaat (figure destroyed). The other objects represented are part of a hieroglyphic inscription giving the name and titles of the deceased. The accompanying drawing depicts the fragments as restored. |
