Description | Rounded base, maximum diameter at about middle of body; slight constriction at base of flaring rim. Chihuahua Polychrome ware. Red and brown decoration on buff slip; design includes two identical panels in a zone which is 1 cm, below rim and 15 cm wide. Each panel is cut obliquely by two sets of narrow parallel lines between which are pendant triangles with hooks which form the interlocking key; the two corner fields contain solid triangles, scrolls, clouds and step-fret. |
