Description | Palm wood point in cane shaft. Barbing consists of three tiers of 4 barbs each, cut from wood of point and encircling it. Point wrapped at internode with yellow plant cuticle. Spaces between tiers of barbs partly whitened with lime, so also behind last tier. Shaft decoration on 2nd-5th internodes, cf. P 4917, 3rd etc. internodes; in this example the hexagonal areas are partly filled with a zigzag element; in 6th internode the hatched band has the "hut" ornament of Frizzi. |
