Description | Brown and white, intervals on the right side, appearance of double weaving, produced by single faced bobbin weave, weft threads alternate in two colords and the patterns which give the appearance of double weaving are produced by simple suppression, floating of the weft threads of one color and their continuation on the under side of the fabric, hence the patterned portion is thinner, the weft is like linen throughout as is also the case in double weaving |
