Padded lining for a soldier's camp hat (jingasa). The pad is covered with black cloth and shaped like an hourglass with two rectangular pads in the center. There is a strap connecting both loops and one loose strap connected to one loop. Was incorrectly catalogued as 19647 which appears on a tag with the object. Possibly goes with 83-44-1.
