白芍. Root of Paeonia albiflora. A tonic, sedative and alternative. From Anhui province. Value at Zhenjiang, $11.50 per picul. Cream-colored thin slices or flakes. One of a collection of samples of Chinese medicine, each in an individual glass jar sealed with cork top.
