Description | Rectangular strip of pile cloth of woven, dark brown raffia with repeating patterns of cut pile in dark brown and yellow. Designs are of paired squares arranged diagonally in alternating dark brown and yellow colors. Within each square is a lozenge alternate in color to the square surrounding it. A strip of woven, black raffia cloth is sewn along the lower edge with small balls of undyed pile attached and dangling below. Cut at each warp end. |
