Description | Rectangular strip of pile cloth of woven, dark brown raffia with repeating patterns of cut pile in black and yellow. Designs are of triangular panels of yellow lattice with black lozenges in the negative space. Panels are separated by diagonal black bands and the upper and lower edges are lined with black triangles pointing inward. A strip of woven, black raffia cloth is sewn along the lower edge. Cut at each warp end. |
