Description | Rectangular strip of pile cloth of woven, dark brown raffia with repeating patterns of cut pile in black and yellow. Designs include alternating lines of black and undyed thread forming interlocking "L" shapes. Within each interlocking "L" is a lozenge with an upper half of undyed, cut pile and a lower half of black, cut pile. Between the interlocking shapes are two diagonal bands of undyed, cut pile with a black, band in between. Cut at each warp end. Similar to 2014-16-34.4. |
