Description

Large multi-color appliqued wall hanging (sometimes referred to as a tent cloth). Perhaps Victorian Period or early 20th century. The design features a vulture with outstretched wings above a cental design that depicts a woman (queen) seated on a throne. She faces left and in front of her are columns of pseudo-hieroglyphs. On either side are stylized columns with lotus flowers, cartouches (with pseudo hieroglyphs) and uraei.
