Description | Papoose- Made of buckskin. Only face of baby shown. Wrapped in outer blanket made of buckskin, and an inner blanket of maroon and white cloths. The buckskin blanket of has a beaded design of diamonds and an "H" form. It is tied with a string of buckskin. A small tab with a beaded design is extended from the back of the head with fringe. The outer blanket is lined with cotton. Bead colors red, white, blue, green. |
