Description | Part of bottom and of lower wall missing. Small, flat bottom. Wall of double curve, the greatest diameter at the level of the lower attachment of the handle. Low, offset lip. Vertical strap handle, the top level with the top of the lip. The underside, the handle and the outer side of the lip unglazed. All the rest glazed inside and out. The outer side of the handle has closely spaced horizontal lines. Two wheelpainted glazed lines around the outside of the lip. Hard, brownish clay. Streaky but good quality black glaze. |
