Description | Warp: \ wool; ud. Weft: \, \/ linen; ud: \ wool; ud, dark-blue and mixed-red-brown, pink-purple and dark-grey. Technique: Tapestry over one warp. Emb. with \/ linen. Shoulder bands to hem, shoulder medallion, knee medallion and double buff bands. Pattern of obling panels, an oval in alternate ones, all filled with interlace. See Class II (E 1443, card 4). |
