Description | Spear with a blade that flares out toward the base. The blade has a wide, medial ridge with cross-hatch, diagonal, horizontal, and zigzag lines etched from the base through the middle. The wooden spear shaft is completely wrapped in metal with circumferal bands of cross-hatch, diagonal, horizontal, and zigzag designs at the upper and lower ends. Thick, copper-colored wire is wrapped around lower end of the shaft above the ferrule. The butt end terminates in an elongated, flattened, metal ferrule that widens toward the beginning and end with a narrow middle section. |
