Description

Lady's slipper with open back; upper of stitched blue silk lined with white cotton and edged at top with a band of black silk; two evenly spaced black cords, on vamp, extend from center top over toe to top of sole; a lighter cording circumvents shoe between upper and lower; sole of layered leather stitched together to rows of evenly spaced stitiching circumventing edge and one row of straight stitiching in center, from toe to heel; inner sole of white soft leather; edge of sole painted white.
