Description | Oval shaped shoe of rice straw for cattle or horses; very thickly woven in center, tightly wrapped around outer rim; two long loops of twisted straw at front and two long straps of twisted straw knotted at end extend from wrapped knot at back and attached at sides. In Japan they are known as uma waraji (馬草鞋). |
