Description | Bark painting by Narritjin Maymurru showing Kingfish and two spear throwers. The flicking trail of the Kingfish is often compared to the movement of a spear thrower. The wavy lines with crosshatching at top and bottom are a clan design, here representing the Wayawu River, setting of the Kingfish stories. Top and bottom of bark inserted into split sticks. |
