Description | Crescent shaped necklace (kina) of gold-lip mother-of-pearl shell. Holes drilled at the two points, into which a white silk cord is knotted and stitiched. On one knot, traces of red pigment, possibly indicating festival wear. Small shallow hole, probably natural, about four cm. from one tip. |
