Description

Body-sherd from a closed vessel. Medium textured, unevenly colored light red (2.5 YR 6/6) clay, with light and dark inclusions, covered with red (2.5 YR 5/8) paint. Burnished. Handmade. Comments: Probably EM IIB. Red Burnished Ware. For discussion of the style see Warren 1972: Period II (Myrtos).
