Description

Grass; woman's. Wade in two panels of fringe. The foundation for each panel is a long oval of heavy plaited twist, the two connected by a narrower flat piece of plaitwork. The material is dyed in two colours: a dark brown and a lighter reddish brown. The garment resembles the Sepik River kilts [skirts].
