Description | (a) Wooden pole with whale bone point lashed to one end with walrus hide thong; detachable point of bone atched to pole (about 2/3 from handle end) with long walrus hide thong; this point fits into permamanent point. The extreme point which fitted into this detatchable point is missing. Another long thong with wooden peg (held by hunter) attached to pole at about the same place as the thong of the detachable point. For walrus? |
