Description | Black, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture (chert or volcanic origin). Fan-shaped with entire perimeter flaked on both surfaces. Broadest edge (opposite apex of fan) shows signs of wear (smoothing of edge) for length of approximately 30mm. One edge of tool has been broken. |
