Ovoid body, cylindrical neck, one loop handle shoulder to neck. Face on neck; arms in full relief with hands to forehead, knees painted and feet as knobs

Face-neck vessel fragment. Narrow-necked jug with an unknown body, cylindrical neck, rounded rim, one vertical strap handle from the neck to body, and an unknown base. There is a modeled/molded head with nose, eyes, ear spools, mouth, and modeled arms with individual fingers holding the head. The vessel appears to have been smoothed with a rotative movement on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Evidence of usewear includes residue on the interior. The catalogue number is written in black ink. No other numbers are visible on the object.
