Pot

Small red clay pot collared and with encircling band of engraved ornamentation. Two vertical loop handles

Cooking pot (olla) with a globular body, bulging collar, rounded rim, 2 cord (round cross-section) handles extending from the neck to the body, and a rounded base. No molded/modeled additions. The shoulder is incised with a geometric design. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior and a smoothed finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing and reducing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is gray and orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the body. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "3313d."
