Description | Tomb 3A = Herscher Tomb 803A. Red polished II black-topped bowl. Fine light red to light yellow clay. Thin streaked bright red to brown slip, mottled. Round base, hemispherical body, slightly incurving rim; convex vertical lug at rim, pierced. Potmark: puncture in top of lug. Undecorated. Cf. 814.17, 819A.3. |
