Description | Tall basket, fastened to a bamboo splint frame which forms legs and rim. Wickerwork body of split bamboo with change to braidwork near top. Lip and base are finished with looped and braided borderwork. Additional top frame is held on rigidly by wrapped knots of rattan at ca. 16cm. distances. Base of basket is of open checkerwork forming air-spaces. |
