Description

Large rim sherd from a deep pot (深鉢). Rim curves up to double projecting knobs. Below projection is raised knob with incised lines. Thicker wall at rim. Exterior with bands of decoration including cord marked, burnished zones and raised incised lines. Interior is smooth. Jomon Style. Dark surface.
