The vessel is orange slipped with painted arms and a stylized face in white and black. There is a band of white around the neck and handle. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the body.
