Description | Tan, fine-grained rock with brown inclusions and concoidal fracture (artifact may be knife from or side blade inset). Base straight and at right angles to longitudinal axis. Base on one surface has flakes driven off it parallel to longitudinal axis. Edges of tang element irregular. One edge nearly straight, the other convex. Flake scars on one surface not parallel to each other. Other surface formed primarily from single flake scar. Cross-section planoconvex. Tang broken at oblique angle to longitudinal axis. |
