| Description | Red ware. Crudely incised for melon. With two spouts ( one broken ) and curved connecting handle. Double-spouted jug with an lentoid body, tapered neck, flat rim, 1 bridge handle extending from spout to spout, and a flat base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel has vertical incised lines down the body, possibly to represent a melon. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the bottom of the base and black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2125." |
