Description

Plaid sarong (tembe paleka). Coarse cotton (kafa galia). Black from local indigo, orange commerical dye. Woven with a wide-toothed warp comb (cau na'e). Poor quality weaving. Machine sewn. Made in 1983, Keto Rasa hamlet. Black, with orange and white balanced plaid. Orange panel with narrow purple vertical stripes. Orange border stripes.
