Vermeule: Onyx. Cameo. (Unmounted). Bust of a bearded Roman of emaciated features facing to right. Sommerville identifies him as the Roman philosopher Seneca. Neo-Classic, inspired by a Roman portrait bust of the IInd century B.C.
