Description

Turquoise faience shabti belonging to the man Nesbastet. Shoulder-length curly wig glazed in black. No beard. Molded hands crossed on the chest, right arm over left, hold painted adzes. Six columns of text on the legs of the shabti in black glaze, consisting of Book of the Dead Chapter 6. The central text column includes the owners name ns-bAst.t.
