Description | Seated Female Figure with child. Seated female nursing child. Glazed once. Hollow clay object with hole in top of women's head. Clay-colored and smooth textured on the outside. Woman is wearing a knee-length skirt , double armbands on each upper arm, and ear ornaments. There are score marks on her head (representing hairline?). Left hand is touching her left breast. Right hand supports nursing child at right breast. Child is sitting on her right thigh, and touches her stomach and side. Child's head is pointed in back and has the same kind of score marks as the woman. |
