Description | Intact. Somewhat brassy; green patina. Similar to 62-8-4, but smaller. The outer loops, which overlap only at their ends, are oval in section and end in two knobs sepatated by a bar, giving the impression of a conventionalized bird or animal head. Traces, mostly covered by patina, of surface ornament; a zig-zag of parallel chevrons, perhaps made with a roulette. Evidently one of a pair together with 62-8-6. |
