Description | Intact. Constricted, thin base; ovoid body; neck set off from shoulder by pronounced articulation; trefoil lip; handle rising from shoulder to a bit above and down lip. Glaze reddish brown; band around lower wall and part way up lower wall; broad band from just below lower handle attachment to below mid-circumference neck glazed. In reserved handle zone are groups of glazed tear-shaped pendants: 1 group of each side of handle attachment, 1 group just off center on front. |
