Description | Rounded base, maximum diameter at middle of body; slight constriction at base of flaring rim. Chihuahua Polychrome ware. Red and Brown decoration on buff slip. Zone of decoration is 1 cm. below rim and 14 cm. wide. Two narrow horizontal lines above and below design; vertical narrow lines divide the zone into two rectangular panels; two sets of oblique lines divide each panel into two pairs of triangles, 1 containing 3 small solid triangular corners and a central step-fret, the other containing the cloud symbol. |
