Description

Pottery. Mended and restored. Fabric of medium fine texture, buff at core, outer surface brown to red. Handmade. Exterior surface and interior of rim polished. Handle flat at shoulder, concave at rim with narrow perforation. Raised band 0.009m above shoulder. Thick white paint accurately applied after firing. Pattern, largely effaced, was elaborate; handle bordered with lines, transverse lines in zones, triangles. Inner lip: zigzag between lines and more pattern now indistinct. Outside: bands of ornament; on floor cruciform design with swastikas between arms.
