Description | Brown and white with red eye embroidered. Pattern: interlocking fish and bird. Red needle-knitted edge Large fragment of a woven textile with a brown and white design with embroidered red circles (eyes?). The weaving technique is undetermined. Textile is thick and the design in "reverse" on recto. The remaining selvage edge is bound in red yarn. Two joins visible. Color(s): Brown, red and white. |
