Sommerville: Pale sardonyx. Portrait of a Gladiator, known as the Bustuarius. Greek and Roman Cameos, Case R.

Vermeule: Pale Sardonyx or Chalcedony. Cameo. (Unmounted). Bust of a man of Roman features to right, identified by Sommerville as "Portrait of a Gladiator known as the Bustoraius." Neo-classic in style of Pistrucci.
