Red jar, twisted handles, painted with bird figures, spherical body, funnel neck, two loop handles shoulder to neck

Narrow-necked jar/bottle with an ovate body, flaring neck, rounded rim, 2 twisted handles extending from the neck to the body, and a rounded base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel is painted with birds and fish in black and white paint. White lines are painted around the neck and the twisted handles. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "3237."
