Description | White painted Kylix; Complete; interior surface flaking; slip and paint worn. Broad , splayed, short-stemmed foot;double curved body,upper part slightly out-turned;ridge encircling center of upper body; plain rim; 2 oblique horizontal handles at mid-body. Interior: encircling bands below rim. Exterior: traces of paint around rim;band encircling ridge on upper body; double band encircling "angled" portion of body; panel decoration on each side consisting of 4 vertical lines, double 'X', 2 vertical lines, checkerboard strip,2 vertical lines, double 'X', and 4 vertical lines. |
