Description | Thunderbird Bowl. Wooden food bowl with Thunderbird painted on interior. Bird is surrounded by symbols occurring in units of four, a sacred number. The central image is encircled by a line, which defines the Universe. The bird's lifeline and ribs are shown, as is an organ, possibly the bladder; it is here that the bird's spirit resides. |
