Description | Contortionist. Naturalistically carved figure standing on right leg with left leg strained directly up the side of the body, foot held between hands at top of the head. Behind the head, between the raised arms, is a grotesque laughing mask, so that the back of the figure appears to be the front of a separate entity. |
