Description | Hair band. "Crooked" motif. Red ground with green, white, red, blue, purple, yellow and pink geometric design. Two tasseled fringes. Aniline dyes used. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 44 epi, two ply, red and white cotton. Weft: 20 ppi, two ply, red cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is double faced. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
