Description | A sticky rice steamer in the form of a medium sized steaming basket that appears to have two woven layers. It is used for steaming rice and other steamed dishes. It is made out of woven bamboo (Bambusa sp. ไม้ไผ่บ้าน) and is lined with a cloth wrap (pha phan ผ้าพัน) to prevent steam from escaping. |
