Description

B: Incomplete vessel. Polychrome with longitudinal stripes.

Fragment. No molded/modeled additions. The fragment is a fruit(?) shaped chamber from a larger pot. The fragment is painted with stripes and dots in red, white, and gray (?). There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. There are mold-lines visible. The catalogue number is written in black ink on the interior. Black ink on the interior of fragment reads:"1814a."
