Description | Twined spruce root hat; flaring, flexible sides; flat top with depression. Outside covered with a thick green paint, worn off in a few places. Inside shows a twined pattern (obscured by paint outside) in skip-stitch forming evenly spaced chevrons ex-tending half-way up hat; plain, fine twining for rest. Head band woven in above half-way, also twined with free edge. |
